A Message from Sgt. Klay South, USMC
-Founder of Veterans of Valor

Welcome to Veterans of Valor. I founded this organization in 2007 as a result of my own experiences as a combat wounded veteran. While clearing houses during the push into Falujah in 2004, I was shot in the face at point blank range. What followed have been years of healing, both physically and emotionally.

I believe my experiences happened for a reason, and that because of them I've been equipped with a special sense of what it takes to assist and encourage recovering veterans and their families. I believe that our story of hope and healing will inspire you.
